Malta, Blue Grotto - Natural work of art

The best of azure caves you will ever see! Here you can enjoy the peace, punctuated with a drips of water. The Blue Grotto is actually a series of caves carved out of the rock by the sea like Cat's Cave, Filfla Cave, Reflection cave, Window Cave, Blue Grotto (the most popular one), Circle Cave, Honeymoon Cave and Blue Window Cave. Ticket for the boat cost 8 euro per person and takes about 25 mins. It much worth it - you will be amazed by the blue colour of the water...

How to get to Blue Grotto by Maltese bus? You need to take a bus number 71 from Valletta bus station, which will take to Zurrieq, last stop. From there you need to change the bus to number 201 from the same bus stop, after around 10 minutes you will approach Blue Grotto. The frequency of the bus number 201 is one per hour (June/July 2013).And that's how Malta describe itself:

"The most beautiful spot in Malta!

DONT MISS IT!

Your once in a lifetime experience.

A 20 minutes boat trip,
where you find yourself in a wonderful world".

 Zurrieq

That's all if it comes to Malta. Here from Blue Grotto we are saying 'Bye Bye' to Malta. It was absolutely pleasure to explore your beauty! Now time to explore other places...

Thank you

  1. Awesome sharing! All the views shown above are amazing and determine the viewer to visit these attractions. After reading this blog I wish to visit these places but my family has already planned about niagara falls bus tours in upcoming summer.
