Lost Soul in Seoul
Loose your soul in Seoul... and where could you do it at its best if not on Seoul markets. There's not better place to get the real taste of Korean life. Marketplaces are the best places to soak up the genuine spirit of Seoul. We normally avoid big shopping malls, outlet centres and departments stores but markets are that's what we love the most.

Tsukiji Market, Tokyo, Japan
Tsukiji Market is the biggest wholesale fish and seafood market in the world, handling over 2000 tons of products per day. Famous for its early morning tuna auction starts at 4am, which we unfortunately didn't make. Nerveless, there is still enough to discover. We reached the wholesale area just after 9am, when it was open to the public. The busy atmosphere, around 700 wholesalers dealing with over 450 kinds of products makes it a perfect place for photographers and market lovers like us. Check The Tsukiji Market Calendar before you visit to make sure is open on the day you wish to visit. Keep in mind that there are plans to move the market from Tsukiji to Toyosu in spring 2016 so better hurry up if you don't wanna miss the real Tsukiji Fish Market!

Wonderful peaceful place - Zbiczno, Poland
Today I'm going to swap quickly location from a bursting city of Tokyo to a peaceful village in Poland. Zbiczno is a village in North Central Poland. It is part of Gmina Zbiczno (administrative district). With just over 4500 people, total of 139 km2 and 9.2% of lakes. It is where I used to spend all my summer holidays. After good few years we decided to come back there to check much has it changed. I'm saying 'we' because my sister came with me to discover the beauty again. To be honest is still the same village as it used to be before, peaceful and calm...

Dubrovnik - Pearl of the Adriatic
We landed just few minutes after 10am, took Atlas bus 'Your Adriatic Host' from outside the airport, ticket one way 35 kuna per person, paid onboard. Bus took around 25-30 mins to reach Dubrovnik Old City Pile Gate, and another 10 mins to Main Bus Station. Our apartment was based in the Old Town surrounded by the City Walls, we had to climb hundreds of stairs to finally reach it!
As we had the whole day ahead of us, we decided to do some sightseeing of the Old Town, walk around City Walls and enjoy a dinner on Stradun.

Montenegro - the Land of Black Mountain
Montenegro, or Crna Gora (Black Mountain) as it is called in its Mother Tongue is small in terms of area, but it has everything. You can have breakfast by the dramatic coast line, afternoon spend wandering around beautiful walled cities and dinner followed by sunset by the lake between stunning mountain landscape. While in Montenegro we visited Perast on Boka Bay, Kotor, Budva and Sveti Stefan. We were absolutely amazed by Perast, the calmest place we have ever visited surrounded by mountains.
Montenegro currency is euro, because of two main reasons: firstly because of high inflation, they made a pact with Germany taking their Marks as a currency, but since Germany joined EEU and started having euros, Montenegro did the same. Second reason is that Montenegro want people from abroad to invest their euros in their country. Loads of constructions going on in Montenegro because of investments people from Russia, Ukraine and other countries. Prices of the landed rises up since Montenegro promised each person who invest €500 000 to become Montenegro citizen. What's interesting: cars headlights needs to be turned on 24/7 - that's the law.

Northern Lights & Hallgrimskirkja, Iceland
The bright dancing lights of the aurora are actually collisions between electrically charged particles from the sun that enter the earth's atmosphere. The lights are seen above the magnetic poles of the northern and southern hemispheres. They are known as 'Aurora borealis' in the north and 'Aurora australis' in the south. Altitude affects the colors: blue and purple occur below 100 km, bright green between 100-240 km and above 240 km reds appear.

Blue Lagoon, Iceland
Six millions liters of geothermal water from 2000 meters beneath the earth's surface. Rich in silica, algae and salt, placed in a very dramatic setting - in the middle of lava field and surrounded by volcanoes. Near the town of Grandavik 3000 square meters of milky water with an average temperature of 40°C is waiting for you. The water gives off lots of steam, especially during winter time, when air temperature is around 0°C. It's never too cold for entering Blue Lagoon.

'Bay of Smokes' - Reykjavik
Reykjavik is world's northernmost capital. The city is among greenness, cleanest and safest in the world. Presence of the Gulf Stream influence the climate of Reykjavik although is located near to Arctic Circle. The average winter low temperature is -1˚C while summer time around 15˚C. Reykjavik is also very windy due to its coastal location. What's interesting in the telephone book everyone is listed by their first name and occupation as Icelandic people don't own surnames. There is no trees, no railway on the island and people hardly use cash in here. Icelandic water is so clean and pure that it is piped to people's houses without any treatment.

Natural wonders, Iceland
Iceland never stops to amaze us, with volcanoes, hot springs, geysers, glaciers, waterfalls, rift valleys and lava fields offering a new view around every corner. It's a land of contrasts. From fire to ice. It's the most sparsely populated country in Europe with over 300 000 people on 103 000 km2, where two-thirds of the population lives in and around the capital - Reykjavik. What's interesting, there is 80 000 horses, Icelandic horses. They are small, but Icelandic people hate if tourists call them a 'ponny' as their breed's weight (which is between 330 and 380kg), bone structure and weight carrying abilities classified them as a horse.

From fire to ice, Iceland
Iceland is one of the places we always wanted to go. While planning the trip we were not sure either to visit on winter or summer. We decided to go during winter, mainly because of the possibility of witnessing the Norther Lights. Iceland convinced us so much that we are already planning to go back there in the future.

Greenness only possible in Bali
We fell in love with Balinese greenness, especially while visiting rice fields. Driving through the very rural part of Bali shows there is much more other than beaches.
