Tsukiji Market, Tokyo, Japan

Tsukiji Market is the biggest wholesale fish and seafood market in the world, handling over 2000 tons of products per day. Famous for its early morning tuna auction starts at 4am, which we unfortunately didn't make. Nerveless, there is still enough to discover. We reached the wholesale area just after 9am, when it was open to the public. The busy atmosphere, around 700 wholesalers dealing with over 450 kinds of products makes it a perfect place for photographers and market lovers like us. Check The Tsukiji Market Calendar before you visit to make sure is open on the day you wish to visit. Keep in mind that there are plans to move the market from Tsukiji to Toyosu in spring 2016 so better hurry up if you don't wanna miss the real Tsukiji Fish Market!
