Gunung Kawi Temple, BALI
The same day after visiting Goa Gajah, we headed to Gunung Kawi Temple which is an ancient rocky temple. To get to the temple you need past over 300 stone steps down passing by incredible beautiful rice terrace. Going down is very easy, but not when you think about coming back up specially when is really hot and humidity. When we visited Bali in September there was loads of ceremonies going on in temples. In some of them we could see preparations like in Gunung Kawi.

Haircut Time, India
Time for a haircut. Not mine unfortunately. Hairdressers in India are perfectionists and I'm not saying that without any reason. Someone who holds scissors in his hand every single day for last 30 years must know what to do. My husband was looking for a hairdresser who has a clipper to short his hair to 0.5cm. He didn't find any so he had to count on scissors and this man skills.

Durga Puja Celebration in Kolkata, India
How would I describe this festival? Durga Puja is 10 days of fast, feast and worship, where the last four days 7th day (Saptami), 8th (Asthami), 9th (Navani) and 10th (Dasami) are celebrated with much gaiety in India and abroad, especially in Bengal.
Everyday local people gather in and around their pandal to pray, eat and meet each other. It's an extremely social and theatrical event.

The Blue Grotto is actually a series of caves carved out of the rock by the sea like Cat's Cave, Filfla Cave, Reflection cave, Window Cave, Blue Grotto (the most popular one), Circle Cave, Honeymoon Cave and Blue Window Cave. Ticket for the boat cost 8 euro per person and takes about 25 mins. It much worth it - you will be amazed by the blue colour of the water...
