Wonderful peaceful place - Zbiczno, Poland

Today I'm going to swap quickly location from a bursting city of Tokyo to a peaceful village in Poland. Zbiczno is a village in North Central Poland. It is part of Gmina Zbiczno (administrative district). With just over 4500 people, total of 139 km2 and 9.2% of lakes. It is where I used to spend all my summer holidays. After good few years we decided to come back there to check much has it changed. I'm saying 'we' because my sister came with me to discover the beauty again. To be honest is still the same village as it used to be before, peaceful and calm...
It's nice to be back here... Ach... Nowadays it's becoming more and more popular within people to seek peaceful holidays and rest from the city. Let's see why is it so... ;)

And at the end lyrics which I found on the internet and perfectly match my feelings at the
moment.

And for those who understood such things, the stars were sending messages:
You will leave the village where you were born
and in another country you'll become very rich, very powerful,
but always you will mourn something you left behind, even though you
can't say what it was,
and eventually you will return to seek it.

Thank you for staying with us till the very end. We hope you enjoyed it ;)

  1. Thanks for commenting on my blog so it enabled me to find yours. Poland is one of my favourite countries, there is something about it that draws me to it, for the last few years I try to go at least once a year but I haven't managed to do so this year and it's given me withdrawal symptoms :)

Hope to read more about your homeland, and by the way, your photography is stunning!

You should definitely visit Gdansk one day! Along with Sopot, Gdynia, Westerplatte and Stutthof! ;)
